Our Classes

Art Scavenger

Art Scavenger is a fantastic class that can easily be recreated at home using items collected during a walk.

Your little one will have a range natural materials in small piles in front of them. From here, they can imagine and create a picture using the natural art supplies at their fingertips.

Children find this class especially engaging as it allows them to create stories and characters, perhaps imagining forest scenes, flying creatures, or aquatic animals.

Dough Delight

Weighing scales are provided for each child to use at their own experiment station, allowing them to measure ingredients for Dough Delight.

Each child receives gluten-free dough in its raw form, along with natural ingredients like lavender, food coloring, and petals, presented in small containers. They can add the ingredients in their own unique way, then cut and play with the dough.

Children find this class especially inviting if they are interested in cooking, mixing, and smelling garden flowers.

Fantasy Factory

Creative, art-focused, and fun! Fantasy Factory encourages each child to build their own scene using cardboard and paint.

This floor-based Discovery play activity provides each child with paint, rollers, buckets, spray bottles, and a large cardboard box, all set on top of a tarpaulin.

Toddlers enjoy the simplicity of holding utensils and making marks, while older children might team up to build a castle or fortress, creating a safe haven to defend their play tribe from imaginary dragons and trolls.

Frozen Fun

This shimmering ice activity invites children to manipulate and transform ice from a frozen to a thawed state. Ice and enhancing ingredients are placed in glittering bowls and on glass plates at individual stations for each child.

Children can observe the flow of colour from frozen flowers in the ice and use utensils to move, place, and influence the transition from solid to liquid.

This play class is highly interactive, often encouraging children to invite their adults to join in and assist with their imaginative endeavors.

Muddy Madness

Muddy Madness offers a tactile, green-fingered experience. Children are mesmerized by the feeling of cool soil and fresh vegetables.

Equipped with compost, gardening trays and other tools they can plant their imaginary plot in their very own mini-garden.

Muddy Madness appeals to children of all ages, embracing the spirit of interacting with nature.

A change of clothes may be necessary for this one!

Gloopy Gloop

Cornflower, water petals, fresh rosemary, and utensils are placed at individual stations for each child. Gloopy Gloop stimulates children's senses by encouraging experimentation with smell, texture, and form.

Children often become fully immersed, feeling the ingredients against their hands.

They enjoy letting the Gloopy Gloop flow through their fingers, adjusting the height and direction of their hands to observe how it falls against the bowls and plates in front of them.

Mini Picasso

Mini Picasso is both an individual and group activity. It encourages each child to create their own art scene alongside new or existing friends, seamlessly blending their creative masterpiece with their neighbor's painting.

A firm favorite for birthday parties, nursery, or school groups, this class helps shy children become more confident as part of a team.

The beauty of this class lies in each child's eyes, as it encourages them to connect with their imagination, collaborate with fellow Mini Picassos, and problem-solve together. It is accessible to children of all ages.

Herbal Tea

This tea-pouring class is highly interactive, often inviting adults to join in their child's imaginative play.

Teapots, utensils, and a mug tree are set up safely, with tea party ingredients laid out for each child to create a unique blend of homemade tea. Children delight in the process of mixing and pouring, sparking creativity and imagination.

This class appeals to children who enjoy experimenting with water and engaging in home activity role play scenarios.

Sandy Shores

This sand tray creative play is perfect for budding builders and adventurers. With cool sand and other natural materials readily available, children can build, create sand gardens, and transport sand through pipes using their hands and various tools.

Sandy Shores offers a discovery play experience not to be missed! Children often interact, play, and chat with each other, sharing their creative projects and assisting one another in their sand play innovations.

Bring the excitement of the beach to your local Kidzplay with this one!

Squishy Clay

Clay is an engaging and creative medium that stimulates each child’s curiosity and enhances hand-eye coordination.

In this class, each child has their own station equipped with soft clay, natural resources, and small utensils, encouraging them to sculpt and manipulate the material.

The beautiful texture of clay is beneficial for generating new neurons and synapses in the brain, especially as children receive immediate tactile and visual feedback while working with it.

Self Portrait

Understanding mirror reflection is a key stage in a child’s development. It helps them become self-aware and builds a robust sense of identity, giving them the courage to venture into new territories and embrace novel challenges.

In this class, paint and other creative sculpting materials are provided to help each child create a memorable self-portrait.

Since each portrait is a special memory of the visit, unlike other Kidzplay classes, children are encouraged to take their artwork home or present it to an adult!

Splish Splash Splosh

Children love to stand next to raised water and play with containers, immersing their hands. Water play is particularly beneficial in early childhood for social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Splish Splash Splosh is a fully immersive play activity where children stay engaged, especially with the addition of a little washing-up liquid for bubbles and food dye to color the water.

This class is excellent for developing fine and gross motor skills.
